Benxi Water Cave is the world's longest underground water-filled cave. It is a national key scenic spot: it was accepted as the first member of Asia by the International Cave Association in 1999. In March 2002, it was awarded the AAAA-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration and passed the ISO9002 quality certification. Nearly one million Chinese and foreign tourists come to visit the Benxi Water Cave every year. They are known as “Northern Kingdom One Treasure”, “World Wonders”, “Asian First Class” and “World Rare”.


Benxi Guanmenshan National Forest Park is located in the Benxi Manchu Autonomous County in the eastern mountainous area of Liaoning Province. It is 48 kilometers away from the urban area. Because of the double peaks, it is wide and narrow, one big and one small, and its shape is like a door, so it is called Guanmen Mountain. Guanmenshan National Forest Park is one of the 50 best scenic spots in Liaoning. In 2001, it was rated as a national AAAA scenic tourist area.
